This notice explains how Home Hive Media uses the information you submit when applying to work with us.
Who is responsible? Home Hive Media is responsible for handling your application information. For privacy questions or requests about your information, contact alfie@homehivemedia.com.
What information do we collect and why?
The form may collect your name, business name, email address, WhatsApp number, trade, areas covered, package of interest, desired start date, business challenge or goal, website or social profile, approximate advertising budget, and your privacy acknowledgement.
We use these details to review your application, respond to your enquiry, contact you about your business, and take steps you request before a possible service agreement. This is necessary to take pre-contractual steps at your request. We also use the hidden anti-spam field and Formspree security tools to help prevent abuse, based on our legitimate interests in protecting the form. We do not add applicants to a marketing list through this form.
Formspree and where information is processed
When you submit the form, your information is sent to Formspree, our form-processing provider. Formspree processes the submission, makes it available in its dashboard, and sends a notification to the email recipient configured for this form. Formspree states that its services are hosted on Amazon Web Services in the United States and that it uses safeguards for international transfers. This means your application information may be processed in the United States. Formspree may also process technical data such as an IP address to help protect the service and prevent spam.
Read Formspree’s privacy policy and its security information. Formspree’s submission-history period depends on its account plan and settings, and may be shorter than the period below.
How long do we keep your information?
If your application does not lead to work, Home Hive Media’s retention period is no longer than six months after our last contact with you. We will delete information sooner if it is no longer needed. Copies held in our email account or Formspree dashboard should also be deleted by the end of that period. Formspree may remove its dashboard copy sooner under its own plan and retention settings.
If you become a client, information needed to provide services or meet legal and accounting obligations will follow separate retention periods.
Your choices and rights
You can ask us to provide a copy of your information, correct it, delete it, or restrict or object to how it is used where data protection law gives you that right. Contact alfie@homehivemedia.com. You can also complain to the Information Commissioner’s Office.
